About us
We are a historical European martial arts (HEMA) club based in Vienna’s 10th district, with a focus on longsword and sabre.
Our primary focus is tournament fencing at a competitive level. Our members regularly achieve strong results at both national and international events. Through our active participation in tournaments, workshops, and seminars, we are well connected within the HEMA community across Austria and beyond. In addition to regular training, we host our own tournaments, provide experienced referees, and contribute to various fencing events with seminars and educational programs. Our values

We see sparring and free fencing as essential parts of historical martial arts. They help us apply techniques under pressure, learn timing and distance, and develop as fighters. In our club, sparring is a space for growth – intense, respectful, and always with a focus on learning together.

Our achievements
Our fighters regularly compete in national and international HEMA tournaments – and with great success. No matter which weapon category or outside of tournaments - our members have earned medals, podium placements, and recognition across Europe. We’re proud of the commitment, focus, and progress behind every result.
Our team
Our team is made up of dedicated fencers from a variety of backgrounds – from experienced tournament fighters to motivated newcomers. What unites us is our passion for HEMA, mutual respect, and the shared drive to grow together – in training, at tournaments, and beyond.
